I got power, poison, pain and joy inside my DNA
I got hustle though, ambition, flow, inside my DNA
I was born like this, since one like this
Immaculate conception
I transform like this, perform like this
Was Yeshua’s new weapon

I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about what it takes to perform at a high level.
I’ve busted my ass to only get minimal results. Conversely, I’ve not worked very hard and been successful at some things.
One thing I know is that to truly achieve my best consistently I have to hustle. When I’m hustling things start to move. Things start to happen in a positive way. But if I sit on my hands nothing will change. And, change is what I’m after. I want to move the needle.
2019 is going to be one of my most successful years financially and creatively, and there’s a few things I’m learning while chasing my goals.
You can’t be satisfied. A lot of people will tell you that having ambition is ungodly or that you’re unhappy but that’s bullshit. There has to be some driver that seeks change. If you are OK with the status quo, how will you ever get different results?
Mental stability is key. I’ve started therapy, taking medication, working out, learning about relationships…all things I never would’ve done 2 years ago. These seem to help me stay balanced so I can crush it.
Riding the waves. Things go up and down but if I keep moving then good stuff will happen. If you’re hustling and not getting the results you want there a a few things in play.
A) You may be in denial or not understand how hard you have to work to get where you need to go. The latter may be an advantage because it’s most likely going to be much, much harder than you could’ve imagined. That beginner’s optimism can get you a long way.
B) You may need to make an adjustment like go to therapy or up your game in some area of life you hadn’t previously considered.
C) You may need to pivot. I’ve started strategically doing things differently this year and I’m expecting huge returns on time and money.
Don’t give up. Even if you feel like dying. You have to keep going. Keep pressing on.
Take breaks. Take a nap. But keep moving.
You’re worth it. I believe in you too.
